Amiya Tate

Hello, my name is Amiya Tate, and I'm a proud 10-year-old from Decatur, Georgia. I'm the oldest of two siblings, with two energetic and loving younger siblings, Martez Jr. and Autumn. I attend Barack Obama Elementary School of Technology in DeKalb County, where I prioritize my education and have consistently excelled, earning recognition such as Principal's List, Honor Roll, and Student of the Year since pre-K. My passions include reading, writing, shopping, and spending time exploring on my iPad.

I'm also very active and enjoy cheerleading and track. As a cheerleader for the 8U Gresham Park Rattlers, I helped my team win first place in a competitive cheerleading championship. On the track, I'm equally determined, and my school team recently claimed the title of 2024 DeKalb County Elementary School champions after defeating all competing schools. I joined the incredible organization DFG in August 2024, and I'm thrilled to be part of a group devoted to community service and giving back. Volunteering and helping others bring me great joy, and I am committed to making a positive impact on the world for as long as I live.
