Adam Lee V
At just 13 years old, Adam is already making an impressive impact as a scholar, artist, entrepreneur, and aspiring chef. He is an 8th-grade honor student at M.D. Roberts School of the Arts, where he serves as a theater major and technical theater minor. Adam is also a Beta Club Officer, a third-year swimmer, and the male lead in his school’s upcoming musical. Adam’s passion for culinary arts has grown through mentorship with celebrity Chef Tregaye. Through that experience, he has had the opportunity to serve as Head Junior Chef at her summer camp and recently appeared on Atlanta News First as her sous chef during Kaiser’s Aging Better Expo. In 2026, Adam received several distinguished honors, including the Outstanding Achievement in Structural Excellence Award from the Clayton County Water Authority for his water tower project, first place and a $500 prize in the Youth Entrepreneur Shark Tank Pitch Contest at Hustle Fest, the 2026 Business/Entrepreneurship Award for International Kidpreneur Day, and the Future Leader Award from Destined for Greatness. Beyond academics and culinary arts, Adam is also creative and well-rounded. He enjoys creating mixed-media artwork and is a former trumpet player with the Jonesboro High School Marching Band. Looking toward the future, Adam dreams of becoming both a marine biologist and an executive chef, with plans to one day own his own restaurant. Adam is especially grateful for Destined for Greatness and the impact of the Young Kings sessions. Through the program, he has learned the importance of effective communication, presenting himself with confidence and respect, and understanding that family extends beyond bloodlines. He is particularly thankful for his mentor, Tyrone McMillian Jr., whom he describes as responsible and studious. Adam admires the way his mentor carries himself and appreciates having a positive role model who genuinely supports his interests and celebrates his accomplishments. We are proud of Adam’s hard work, creativity, leadership, and determination. His future is bright, and we look forward to seeing all that he will continue to accomplish.as
