As a current student in a doctoral program a desire for education specializing in information security and information privacy keeps my pulse on current trends in security. He is has also a current Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and his academic accomplishments include a Master of Science degree in Information Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Security Assurance from Kennesaw State University. Fletcher believes in mentoring and giving back to the community by being an educator. As a collegiate educator of Information Technology, Networking, and Information Security he tells his classes that, "silence is acceptance", which he uses in his academic and professional life as a personal reminder to get others involved.
Fletcher brings over 15 years of IT and information security governance, risk, and compliance expertise to our team. Fletcher’s experience and knowledge areas include information security, network security, application security, identity and access management, and vulnerability management, and computer forensics. In his latest role as an information security consultant for C-level executives, Fletcher Florence develops, maintains and governs the IT security architecture framework and act as subject matter expert for all enterprise wide risks and IT initiatives as each pertains to security engineering, services, and support.
Over the next few years, Fletcher will be applying his research to facilitate innovation and social change in the IT industry from a security and risk perspective. He will evangelize information security and risk by participating in industry panels, speaking engagements, and think tanks. He will reach out to his peers in the IT industry and collaborate and guide the future path and vision of information security and risk.
