Chris Eppenger is the Chairman of the Board and Project Manager for Destined for Greatness Outreach Youth Center. As Chairman of the Board, Chris presides at all meetings of the Board and the Executive Committee, acts as a liaison between the Board and the President to help ensure the Board’s directives and resolutions are carried out, and exercises and performs such other powers and duties as may be from time to time prescribed by the Board.
Chris has served as an Account Management Representative and Network Security Analyst within the banking industry and is currently serving as a Linux Video Support Engineer for Cisco Systems. Chris also worked for CNN News (Turner Broadcasting) as a Linux Administrator. While holding these positions, Chris gained numerous experience in Business Research, Economics, Global Financial Management, Managerial Leadership and Ethics, Managerial Marketing, Project Management, Strategic Management and Information Technology. In his spare time, Chris mentors youth and adults in the technology space as a professor at numerous private and non-profit colleges (ITT Technical Institute, Westwood College and Pacific Institute of Technology). Chris is currently involved in the “Putting Georgia Back To Work” initiative at Pacific Institute of Technology, where he teaches unemployed youth and adults Linux certification courses.
Chris holds a A.S. degree in Computer Networking Technology from Northwest Mississippi Community College, Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Business/IT Project Management from American InterContinental University.
